'Lady in the Water' by M. Night Shyamalan (c)2006 (Vista Series) Staring Paul Giamatti Bryce Dallas Haword (should be out in DVD by January)

Much like M Nights other films this film makes you think and take a look at things for what they are. A young water being((Bryce Dallas)) Is found in the hotel swimming pool by a hotel owner named Cleaveland Heep((Paul Giamatti)). As the film Progresses the Water being begins to reach out and affect those around her, but she knows something more sinister awaits in the shadows and she asks for help...I will say no more nor will I give away any scenes, but the movie is a bit slow, but cute and comical in the areas I think it should be. It makes you think and challenges your notion of things. It got mixed reviews, but then again since when does this society like things that are profound?..lol.

Seriously though Mab was right..M Night does usually deliver profound movies and this is no exception. I personally enjoyed it and there are a few surprises in it i liked. I give it a 3 out of 5. Its already out in the US and probably will be released in a few weeks in London or other areas if it hasn't already come and gone.
