'Bewitched' 2005 Sony Pictures starring Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell and Shirley MacLaine Length: 102 mins

I remember when I heard they were going to do this I was so excited. I always loved the show Bewitched and felt that it was closer to how real witches would be.

I picked up the movie today and decided not to try and compare it to the TV show. I'm glad I didn't because I think it would have ruined it for me. It starts out really cute and I've love to have the house that Isabelle (who is playing Samantha in the new TV show which the movie is about).

Ok, so this movie is about a re-make of the old TV show Bewitched. The actor who will play Darren had a movie flop so they think this will give him a boost to his career. His life is just not going so well not only because of the flop of a movie but his wife left him and kept the house. He is a really self centered guy and thinks that everything is about him, including the show.

Isabelle using her magick throughout the movie and honestly some of it is pretty funny. I thought of worse things to do than she did. lol It was interesting to see how she learned to make herself more forceful. I'll tell you know that she is a kind of, ok really ditsy, at first. Slowly she grows into something more. She still wasn't as strong as Samantha was though. Her strength was more learning how to deal with life without doing spells or making things happen.

Over all I enjoyed the movie. I do think they could have made the movie more than it was though.
