Legendary singer/songwriter GORDON GILTRAP will perform a full acoustic set at The Glastonbury Town Hall on Sat March 31st to launch the town's new radio stataion Glastonbury Radio.
The man who made HEARTSONG a worldwide best seller and then went on to write the Waltons theme is rated by other musicians as "one of the best ever" and demand from music clubs across the South West is sure to make the concert a sell-out. (See www.glastonburyradio.com)
Glastonbury Radio is the brainchild of Somerset based entrepreneur Ross Hemsworth UK Managing Director of Web Radio World Ltd (www.webradioworld.com)
Ross hopes to promote the town as the "esoteric capital of the world" and also hopes to bring other well known artistes to the town including 70's chart-toppers The Strawbs, Judie Tzuke and Arthur Brown to name but a few!

GLASTONBURY RADIO will begin broadcasting on the Spring Solstice - March 21st 2007 at: www.glastonburyradio.com
We are now in discussions with businesses, organisations, attractions, local people and the press to put together a wide and diverse range of programming for the station which will broadcast 24 hours a day to the world via Web Radio World - the fastest growing online digital radio network in the world. An official launch will take place at the Town Hall in Glastonbury on Saturday March 31st at 7.30 p.m. Directly after The Mystic & Earth Spirit Fayre where I shall be interviewing live on air and doing a talk at 4.00pm on ORBS - is there life after death? We hope as many of you as possible will come along to both events.
Programming will reflect the very best about Glastonbury and promote the town globally as "the esoteric capital of the world" and presenting a wide range of talk, music, sport and live events/outside broadcasts.
