What Happened in the Grove
|
Anna and her husband, Ian, spent a week in Britain and another in Germany. There was a Grove meet-up between themselves, Mab, Kate, Ian, Kaj and Froggie, around the Black Country and Glastonbury. The new Luna Goddess class got underway with, it seems, half of the Grove as students, after Opalline swept through on a recruitment drive. Kaj, Dreamweaver, Rinelme, Patty and Ennonia are amongst those enrolled. Branny is in the newly released Gerina Dunwich book, 'Phantom Felines'. Andrea and Garry, from Twin Roses Designs, have been working on costumes for a film. Storm Feather organized the Witchgrove Yule Card Swop. Froggie had a profound meeting with a vixen, shortly before receiving the inevitable, but nontheless welcome news that he's healing very well. This was also only three weeks before he and Liz were approached to become talk radio presenters. They will begin, every Wednesday, from December, at Net Talk Radio. Scorpius and Dreamweaver's daughter secured the job that she wanted. Bella received a jade plant that she really wanted. Karen will be working with Holly Lerski, planning her US tour; she also catalogued her whole library of books and gave some of them away. Patty received the second place award in the Southern Soapers competition. Georgia sat and passed her Real Estate exam. Roxanne announced her intention to become a Healing Harp Therapist. Bud of the Rose returned to the Grove. The cheerleading troop that she coaches did very well in their show. Cecilia was interviewed for the Grove's Music Section. Colette announced that it had been 15 weeks since her last cigarette. Kiele led the Grove in two on-line Samhain ritual, at different times to account for varying time-zones. |
Griselda donated to Witchgrove's website fund 50% of the profits from her Raven Moon Priestess Spirit Doll. Mab was the winning bidder (and is thrilled to bits with it). Mike reported on the clean up of his home, following Hurricane Katrina last year, and his impending move to Arkansas: Hearthwitch announced that she's going to spend five weeks touring Europe. Meph was at the Twin Cities Pagan Pride Day selling his wonderful wands. It was highly successful in terms of sales and networking, but not so in working pick-up trucks. He has also returned to school as a teacher, instructing students in ASL. Pixie attended a local Reclaiming Tradition workshop. Amongst the energy sent was for Ember, dangerously ill in a Vegas hospital, Chelle's son in hospital, Patty in surgery and a dying squirrel named Charlie Brown. Kiele led the Grove in an on-line healing ritual for one of Gryph's friends. Much of Tarna's furniture and possessions were smashed, damaged or missing once the removal van reached her new home across America. But a couple of weeks later, her ritual tools reached her by post with an anonymous note inside, which read, The Grove membership rose from 296 to 297 members; posting 3921 messages. Weekly discussions were introduced by Minerva Ravenwing, Cerr, Roxanne, Anne and Branwynn Annwn Hi all, I'm saying goodbye to all my sisters and brothers that I knew here.
