What Happened in the Grove

Tzu Graduating by Hilde Bakering

The magazine, Saponifier went to post at midnight on July 3rd. Sarah-Ann is its managing editor.

Tarna broke her ankle and had her house struck by lightning, in two separate incidents. She also had her journal stolen and, as it was no longer made, wrote to the company asking on stock. They replaced it free of charge because of the circumstances in which it was taken and for their altruism, we'll plug them here. Thank you, 7th House.

A very creative Dreamweaver showed off her completed cross-stitch and book-binding skills.

Amongst the energy being sent, there were Shewolf and Tarna 2 in surgery, then recovering well; Branny for ongoing thyroid related problems; Witchy Fae in a string of accidents and ailments, including concussing herself; and Owlsong being evacuated from Lebanon.

Frenchie 'called the show' at 'O'.

Tarna 2 added a Witchgrove banner to her MySpace. Thanks cariad!

Cerr was writing to the Las Vegas Sun expressing her opinions in a letter entitled 'Wicca is no Exception to Freedom of Religion. On the same subject, the Grove voted to include Emmachia's fundraising for the Pagan Headstone Campaign in our Shopping Mall.

Draig Athar achieved an A in her calculus exam.

Meph was on the move, quitting his job in the process.

Froggie and Liz took Witchcraft Ltd to Witchfest Scotland.

After much to-ing and fro-ing on his company's behalf, Scorpius was finally promoted at work.

Despite her intense fear of it, Hearthwitch started learning to drive.

Raine found a dog and ensured that it was safely reunited with its human companion.

Branwen's pregnancy (and attendant complications) has forced her to leave work amidst a sea of wonderful presents. She's learning html to keep her occupied.

Griselda Tello opened a MySpace to help promote her wonderful dolls.

Liz Williams was nominated for the Arthur C Clarke awards for her books and is nearing completion of her latest novel.

The Grove membership rose from 285 to 286 members; posting 2775 messages.

Weekly discussions were introduced by Shewolf Silver Shadows, Rinelme, Anonymous Friend, Saoirse and Tarna.
