Achievements Beyond the Norm

Mab of Dream graduated

Mab graduated, from the University of Wolverhampton, with a higher grade pass in her Master of Arts in History; a couple of days before, she also gained promotion to Regional Administrator of Aimhigher West Midlands.

Draig Athar was accepted into the University of Connecticut to study pharmacy; while Aud signed up at City of Wolverhampton College to do her Body Massage Cert, Indian Head Massage and Anatomy and Physiology Diplomas.

Chandan Lohia began experiments to find an alternative to pesticides which kill local wildlife.

Nancy organized a collective prayers and candle lighting evening for those killed in Hurricane Katrina and 9/11, plus those surviving the same, while Mike announced a fundraiser organized by his own Pagan Travel Network with Haunts & Flaunts and Anadiz Moon Spiritual Healing.

On a related matter, Branwynn Annwn donated a photographic print to an auction raising money for Katrina survivors; and Witchgrove, as a whole, voted to sponsor Witchvox to coincide with their funds being similarly donated.

    Damien Wynter announced the release of a new edition of Spiritual Journeys, while Shewolf Silver Shadows announced the 7th Edition of Whispers of the Witch Within.

    The Witchgrove website received an Award for Excellence, from the Official Pagan Web Site Award committee. The accolade read,

      Witchgrove is a discussion group that is highly active and truly educational. This discussion group does not stop there though they have compiled an amazing web site to acompany the discussion group. As a unit, the Witchgrove discussion group and web site is truly worthy of many awards.

    Also SLAAPI chose to link to us as their favoured Wiccan source.

    Shewolf Silver Shadows launched her new poetry website Shewolf's Magical Poetry

    Simon tested out his rune-reading on members of the Grove and was given a huge thumbs up.

    On the move this month were Draig Athar and Beth; Andrea and Garry; and Anonymous Friend. David Gonterman is starting the process of finding a new apartment.

    Faithweaver returned to the Grove after extensive hospitalization and surgery.

    The Grove membership rose from 266 to 271 members; posting 2512 messages.

    Weekly discussions were introduced by Dreamweaver, Fell to Earth, Damien Wynter and Branwynn Annwn.

Jodi's daughter, Aeryn, was born on September 22nd 2005.

FT Kate's grandfather, Bill Hinton, passed through the Veil, on September 23rd 2005.
