What Happened in the Grove
Griselda created a Witchgrove doll out of materials posted to her from members across the globe. This is currently on eBay, with proceeds going towards the upkeep of Witchgrove itself: Witchgrove Dryad Spirit Art Doll. Bid! She also announced the launch of her new site, IS-RAW Tarna agreed to become a Witchgrove Website Mod! Her realm is the photo gallery. Yve learned, from scratch, so much html that she was able to take over whole areas of the website and cover when others were unavailable. Andrea offered a money off sale especially for Witchgrove members from her stock at Twin Roses Designs. Branny, Tzu, Ian and Mab met up in Coventry Branny entered a photography competition, though not the winner, her work was shortlisted. This is the same Branny who has now gone nearly 17 weeks without a cigarette. |
Draig Athar finished her semester with flying colours, gaining an 'A' in Geog160 (finishing top of the class), English and Biology. For much of May, Tzu was living with the nightmare that is your BA finals, but on May 22nd, he handed in his dissertation. Hearthwitch announced her intention to attend the Chicago Institute of Art and Design. Saoirse's daughter, Tasha, graduated as a nurse on May 23rd 2006. Georgia's son graduated from High School; while Kai's daughter became a freshman. Minerva Ravenwing gained promotion and corresponding pay rise at work. Mab was part of Aimhigher West Midlands's launch of Get Up and Go!, which was so successful that they shifted 3000 CD-Roms at the event to just over 100 people. Froggie reported that the launch of his shop, Witchcraft, is going so well that they've had to take on extra staff! Anonymous Friend won a $25 Barnes and Noble voucher at work; while Mab won the 'name Bella's shop' competition. Sarah-Ann and family were on the move, looking at a 28 foot Barth motorhome to be their home; while Moonbeam and family have moved into their new home. Dreamweaver and Scorpius's home started falling down a sinkhole! But the landlord came to sort it. Scorpius also looks set for promotion at work. The Grove membership fell from 272 to 271 members; posting 3017 messages. Weekly discussions were introduced by Mab, Tarna, Kerriwyn, Pixie and Cerr. | |

Veil Crossings and Rites of Passage Sorrowgael gave birth to Aidan in May 2006. Georgia's friend, Sonny Hicks, was shot dead at work on May 3rd 2006. Branwen learned that she is pregnant, announcing it on May 6th 2006. Jeninia gave room in her house for her feline friend, Gypsy, to have her kittens; unfortunately none of them survived. Cosmo, Minerva Ravenwing's fish companion, passed through the veil on May 10th 2006. Lenny's mother passed through the veil on May 19th 2006. Branwen and her boyfriend were handfast on May 20th 2006. Branny's great-aunt, Marijke, passed through the veil on May 22nd 2006. Pixie's canine friend, Tanker, passed through the veil on May 22nd 2006, following the passing of another canine friend, Jager. Sage announced, on May 26th 2006, that she has found an Eastern path upon which to dedicate her spirituality. |
