Achievements Beyond the Norm
Cabochon in Glastonbury (see 'Veil Crossings and Rites of Passage') Pixie was asked onto the ABRA board of directors! Laura, Cerr, Osran, Cabochon and Karen the Flower all introduced a weekly discussion. Corey got a great new job as a receptionist in a Property Management office. Becca finished her exams. Draig successfully completed a whole Year of Art, wherein she did something of an arty nature every day for a year. |
Members of the Grove sent postcards to a British primary school, to help the children learn their geography. Superfrog Trevor got his 2,000 word essay, on Juvenal and the Roman Ostia, written and handed in; while also persuading his BA supervisor to allow him to research British religions at the time of the Roman Empire for his next essay. Also in academia, Mab handed in her 5,000 word MA project, entitled: The Historian’s Approach to the study of a New Religious Movement, with Emphasis Upon Wicca. Nica officially became the owner of Life's Journey Bookstore and signed a lease on the house of her dreams. Shewolf completed the illustrations for her forthcoming children's book and revamped her web-site. Membership of the Grove rose from 206 to 209 on May 31st, with 3237 posts this month. | |

Veil Crossings and Rites of Passage Cabochon was initiated to the second (Wiccan) degree by Mab, on top of Glastonbury Tor, at Beltane. Goodbye, Mighty Quinn -- April 1, 1991 - May 9, 2004 (Pixie's cat) and Cougar (Karen's cat) May 9th, 2004 Georgia became a free woman. Laura and Mab's friend, Cham Patel, died in his sleep, aged 39. Anna's step-grandma passed over. BS Kate and Phoenix were handfast by Mab and Cabochon, at Clunton, Shropshire, for a year and a day on May 29th, 2004. |
