Witchgrove celebrated its fourth birthday with a month of pie chart and an eBook created by members of the Grove. Georgia contributed the most in terms of posts for the pie chart and the artwork above is 'Grove Heart' created by Yve for the eBook.

Anonymous Friend gave word that her site will be relaunched on May 1st 2006, with new features to look out for. (Check back here then!) She also swanned around the Grove in a daze after falling in love.

Chasmodai organized a ritual for Spring Equinox, with Agate Spirit Grove, in Nevada.

Sarrah returned after moving safely across several American states to her new home.

Laura signed up for the Race for Life, raising money for Cancer Research. Click on the link to sponsor her!

Louise was promoted to Reference Librarian.

Georgia, on behalf of the Pagan Headstone Campaign, posted another call for action, this time concerning Memorial Day.

Nyctea returned to the Grove having healed herself of a long-standing illness after altering her diet. She announced a series of classes, spiritual and coven-based activities, in Iceland, while also giving word that she's written two books!

Cerr quit her job and started back to college for her Pro Chef certificate in baking and pastry

    Anna started taking belly-dancing classes.

    Howard showed some of his artwork, while also organizing with other Pagan parents into taking their children out of school for RE lessons, in order to provide those lessons themselves.

    Scorpius welcomed 147 new members to his NASCAR group in only 7 days.

    Branwynn Annwn made an appointment to the dentist despite her fear of them; she had also given up smoking for eight weeks by the end of the month. Similarly, Sage had given up for 3 weeks and Meph had drastically cut down on his cigarettes.

    All those hours at the gym paid off for Kerriwyn, who was bouncing around the Grove having reached her perfect weight.

    Najiwench started a new job and was enjoying it; she announced her intention to set up a pet rescue in her area.

    Andrea, Dreamweaver and Opalline were made mods of sections in the Sales forum

    Amongst the healing sent out were energies for Minerva Ravenwing's grandchild, hospitalized with breathing difficulties, and Soulwind's friend, who was involved in a motorcycle accident and placed into intensive care. Both are recovering well.

    The Grove membership fell from 280 to 273 members; posting 5048 messages.

    Weekly discussions were introduced by Mephisto, Sage, Anna and Andrea.


Veil Crossings and Rites of Passage

Crystal Dolphin's unborn child crossed the veil at 8 weeks, on the night of Feb 28th-March 1st 2006

Though not in Witchgrove herself, many Grove members were saddened by the loss of Rosemary Kooiman, who crossed the veil on March 5th 2006.

Froggie's Aunt Joy crossed the veil, on March 10th 2006.

Kaj's 23 year old cousin, Toby, crossed the veil following a car accident, which also killed the other driver, on March 10th 2006.

Maya Kali's owls' egg hatched into a 'cute, tiny, greyish white fluffball' on March 22nd; unfortunately it passed through the veil again, on March 23rd 2006.

Georgia's canine companion, Lobo, passed through the veil, on March 22nd 2006.

Penny Lane, a German Shepherd, was adopted from a shelter in Albuquerque by Tarna and her family, in March 2006.
