What Happened in the Grove

Froggie's shop

There was a Grove meet-up between Scott, Ian, Mab, Froggie and Liz in Glastonbury. Above is Witchcraft, Froggie and Liz's shop.

Mike Gleason suggested that Pagans give recommended reading lists to their local libraries and/or hold fund-raising events to hand over quality Pagan literature.

Dreamweaver organized the creation of trading cards throughout the Grove.

Draig found her ideal apartment, with a teeny bit of magical help. While Dianne returned to the Grove the proud owner of her coveted Yellow Brick House.

Gryph was the highest bidder on the Witchgrove Dryad Spirit Doll, created by Gris, raising $47 to keep this website paid up in domain and server fees.

Branny bravely underwent dental treatment despite her phobia of dentists.

Minerva Ravenwing reached her ideal weight and happy danced around the Grove.

Amongst the energy requests were help for Gen's twins, Kaj in hospital and a baby born to friends of Cerr in a situation dangerous to both mother and child.

Hearthwitch achieved her dream of getting two goats and, rising above her fear of driving, started driving lessons so to care for them.

Witchgrove's guestbook has been spammed for months, several entries a day, which have been mostly traced by us to a single individual. We were name-checked in an external investigation into him, entitled 'Meet Mark Hostetler, Spammer from Austria'.

Opalline was put in charge of a project at work, which involved more money and prestige.

A photograph of a wedding cake, decorated by Cerr, was placed on the homepage of Creative Cooking School.

Laura raised £212 for Cancer Research UK by taking part in the Race for Life.

Hilde Bakering came second in a photography competition run by Planet Internet.

Dreamweaver controlled her empathic gift in a crowd for the first time.

Meph demonstrated that peace of mind is better than wealth, by walking out of his job.

Pam demonstrated patience and professional in the face of extreme provokation at work, by remaining calm with a customer, whom the rest of us would have happily slapped.

Tzu achieved his BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a 2.2, at Nottingham University.

Mab won the 'Name Bella's New Shop' competition with LiTHiuM, thus netting for herself $50 in goods from the shop.

The Grove membership rose from 271 to a staggering 285 members; posting 3185 messages.

Weekly discussions were introduced by Georgia, Cerr, Yve and Mab.
