Achievements Beyond the Norm
'Liberated (The Raven Girl)' sculpted by Amy Rawson. Draig Athar achieved the highest grade in her class in her Bio exam, scoring 92 raw (104 on the curving scale) when the average was 63. Cerr was accepted onto the baking/pastry chef's certification course, at the University of Nevada Las Vegas; and she is also affiliating with Jodi on a project within Glow Diva. Meph started woodworking at a cabinet shop; while Veronica also succeeded in getting the job she wanted. TygerCub AND Andrea had their hair cut as donations to Locks of Love. Jami got her new car against the odds (and ensured that it was environmentally friendly), while Anonymous Friend also gained some wheels. |
Shewolf Silver Shadows let us know that her candle magic book is being edited and will soon be in the shops. She is also collaborating on a fiction book. Sage organized an energy sending/prayer casting for 'healing to our world'. Much energy was sent to Damien, whose lung collapsed, Sage, who was rushed into hospital with breathing difficulties, and Charlene's mother, who was hit by a car - all are making/have made good recoveries. Also in energy sending, Mab's Auntie Maureen's cancer went into remission (not bad for someone who wasn't supposed to survive Yule. Thank you, Witchgrove.) Mab finally made the Aimhigher college pages look 'cool' with an interview with Speedreader. Branwen Morrighan started campaigning for Pagan rights in America, calling on the Grove members to sign the 'Complaint of Wiccan Rights to George W Bush' petition. Froggie's Witchcraft Limited moved to larger premises in Glastonbury; while Sarrah moved to Alabama. Dreamweaver and Scorpius's cat, Sully, was lost and found again after nearly two days; Dreamweaver also received her first paid commission for her hand-dyed fabrics. The Grove membership leapt from 267 to 280 members; posting 3212 messages. Weekly discussions were introduced by Georgia, Pixie, Cerr and Saoirse. | |

Veil Crossings and Rites of Passage Froggie announced his initiation into the Druidic orders. Karen's friend, Eric, passed through the Veil on February 1st 2006. Fforest Elf and Tektite's neice, Leia Jade, was born on February 2nd 2006. Minerva Ravenwing's friend, Sara, passed through the Veil on February 14th 2006. Maya Kali's owls laid eggs on February 14th 2006. Branwen Morrighan announced her forthcoming handfasting. Damien Wynter's grandmother passed through the Veil on February 19th 2006. Chelle's brother-in-law passed through the Veil on February 25th 2006. |
