There are very few people in this world that resemble their totem animals, however, Georgia is one of them. She is very much like the horses that protect her and guide her through this life. She can be very gentle and kind and, when she gives you attention, it makes you feel like you did something amazing. She will go to the ends of the world to help you, but don't cross her, because, like a horse, her temper can kick you when you're not expecting it. I'm proud to call Georgia a friend. When I met her, I couldn't stop talking to her nor get enough of her. She's an amazing priestess and person.

(Introduction by Anna Alexander)

In 100 words or less, tell us who you are... where are you from, where are you now, what do you do, etc?

Well let's see... I'm Georgia Langley, but only because I didn't change it when I got divorced. I'm thinking of changing it back to my maiden name. 44 and still loving life, but wondering where I go from here.

I'm learning a lot from my teacher. He is helping me open myself up to more believing in myself. Of being my own light.

I have had the pleasure and pain of raising two male of our species. LOL The oldest is 22 and the youngest is 18. Good boys they are. ;-)

Oh I work with my ex-husband and I do all the office work. Where I'm going I don't know but I'm itching to start life anew.

Current news: what did you have for dinner last night?

Last night I had, wheat things and spreadable cheese for dinner. lol Sad isn't it?

What color socks are you wearing?

I'm wearing white socks at the moment.

If you were an insect, what insect would you be?

The kind that didn't get squished! hehe

Ok... Now to the Grove..:P How did you find the Grove? (Or how did it find you? Whichever the case may be)

It was the age old story of love. Yep.

I found several people that I loved and, when another list imploded, I thought I had lost them forever. I panicked and wrote to Cerr off list and she said several of the folks were working on a new list and were trying to gather all the e-mail addresses of the folks that had been on the other list.

The list that rose from that implosion was Witchgrove.

    How long ago was that?

    Three years ago. :-)

Besides size, what would you say is the biggest way that the Grove has evolved since you first joined?

Funny enough the Grove started out with the desire to be what it is now.

Maybe I could say that it has had the power to bring people together, who may not have had the ability to meet each other any other way. To help people even find folks that are in the same general area as them.

To me, size is the biggest change that took place.

How long were you a member before you became a mod, and how did you become a mod?

As soon as Cerr figured out how invaluable it is to have a Cancerian on board. ;-) November 3rd, 2003 is the real answer. hehe

What are the perks about being a mod?

Oh there are several! Anna let's it ALL hang out when we are in the mods hut, Roxanne belly dances for us. We have to watch her though, for some reason she keeps asking us for 25 cents.

Did I mention the scones Cerr makes? Plus our Mab who helps explain things, when I get confused and she makes a mean cuppa too!

Pixie's ability to craft ANYTHING! Plus she lets us test wine that she makes, that's why you here some of those really wild cackles some times.

Chelle, is always making soaps and other wonderful things but she won't let me watch or help. I think she is scared I'll burn or cut myself.

Then, last but not least, would be Cabochon... he has fanstastic shoes! Let me add a wit that could cut through steel... The last two don't think of themselves as mods as they use to but we all know they still are in their hearts.

Are the pastries in the mod hut really THAT good?

    They are to die for!

What is the worst/hardest part of being a mod?

To me, the hardest part is when two or more people get at odds with each other. It's not that they disagree, but because I know that they are good people and have strong opinions. That each person is speaking their truth.

Does it really hurt you more than it hurts us?

Yes, it really does. The part of when someone believes you are taking sides hurts. It's just so difficult to make them see we have to be unbaised.

A guy from the planet Xentrolyn bumps into you and asks you, "What is this "Witchgrove"?" What do you tell him?

I'd tell him it's a place where my friends stay. A place that we can talk about anything, but politics... I'm guessing though, if he is from Xeontrolyn, he wouldn't be interested in politics anyway though. I'd tell him it's a place where everyone is valued whether they realize it or not.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us? Any deep, dark, secret confessions that have been eating away at the core of your self, like a cancerous parasite, begging to be released for the world to see?

Interestingly enough, I don't really have any deep dark secrets. One thing of interest that I have discovered recently is that, when I am surrounded by friends from the Grove, I feel like I can accomplish things I normally don't feel like I'm capable of.

Finally, and most importantly, how many licks DOES it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

Well according to the old, very old commercial, the furthest most people can get is three before they bite the tootsie pop.
