Auldwicce
Before the 20th Century resurgence of Earth centered religions, there were people all over the old countries that worshipped the male and female divine. They lived and worked off the land and recognized the elements as being essential to their survival. These were the Olde Ways, part of a legacy of magick passed down and kept alive for centuries. Auldwicce was created in tribute to the ways of the Olde.
We are a premier pagan community with varying personal beliefs and life histories who follow a lifestyle and system of honor and sincerety to ourselves and our spiritual path. Ours is a path of where the doorway to truth is found in the balancing of the light and darkness and braving the descents that have deemed necessary for our spiritual growth. As such, we value the full range of enriched life experience and self-expression in this quest.
We discuss various religious sects and our discussions revolve around everything from Rites, Rituals, Magick, Mythology, Traditions, Folk Lore, Divination, Familiars, and Herbalism; to Theology and Invocations and Energy Work. We are a family that encourages freedom of spirit and the growth of the individual soul. We speak the words, sing the invocations and teach the lessons our faith and inspire to walk the path the Deities have laid out unerringly and honestly; seeking to personally commune with Deity down their own path.
